Liuna Station — 360 James Street North, downtown Hamilton
A fully restored 1931 railway station and one of the city's most photographed wedding venues. The Grand Lobby's marble columns and gold-and-copper ceiling make ceremonies and cocktail hour feel grand without extra styling, and the three ballrooms cover every size of celebration: the Grand Central Ballroom for up to 700 guests, the King George Ballroom with its private entrance and patio fountain, and the intimate, Art Deco Continental Express. Portraits work indoors and out without ever leaving the property.
Carmen's Event Centre
Shannon & Daniel's September 2026 wedding started with portraits against the historic estate grounds of Dundurn Castle, then moved to Carmen's Event Centre for an intimate outdoor ceremony in beautiful natural light — two of the city's most iconic locations in a single day.
Ancaster Mill
Nestled by a picturesque waterfall, Ancaster Mill pairs historical charm with fine dining and elegant reception spaces. The natural light and lush surroundings make every photo pop, and it is a go-to for couples wanting a romantic, refined day. Weddings there include Jenn & Sean (2024).
The Spice Factory
Centrally located in downtown Hamilton, The Spice Factory offers multiple unique event spaces plus a rooftop terrace with city views. Q: How much does a Hamilton wedding photographer cost?
A: My wedding photography packages are The Essential at $2,900, The Signature at $4,500, and The Legacy at $5,900, all in Canadian dollars. Each package includes an online gallery and a USB.
Q: Do you only photograph weddings in Hamilton?
A: No. I am based in Hamilton and photograph weddings in Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, and Toronto. A travel fee only applies if the wedding is further than about an hour and a half away.
Q: When will we see our photos?
A: Sneak peeks are included with The Essential package and arrive within 48 hours of your wedding. Blog posts and teasers are usually ready 1 to 2 weeks after the wedding day, and full and final galleries are delivered within 2–3 months.
Q: How do we book our date?
A: Send me your wedding date and venue through the contact page. Booking is a $1,000 retainer plus a signed agreement, and your date is secured once both are received.
Q: What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
A: If it does rain on your day, we will take advantage of the beautiful decorated wedding hall along with other indoor options for photos — I will still get you the most amazing photos!
Q: Where are the best wedding photo locations in Hamilton?
A: A few of my favourites, all from years of shooting here: Webster's Falls and Dundas Peak for nature and drama — towering cliffs, lush forests, and cascading water, best at golden hour; the Royal Botanical Gardens for manicured gardens, ponds, winding paths, and seasonal blooms; Bayfront Park and the Waterfront Trail for open skies, water views, and relaxed lakeside moments; the Gage Park Greenhouse, which works rain or shine with tropical plants and warm light; and James Street North and the downtown core for murals, brick walls, and bold, urban textures.
Q: Do you offer engagement sessions, a second photographer, albums, or a wedding film?
A: Yes. An engagement session and a second photographer are included in The Signature and The Legacy packages and can be added to any package ($600 and $750). A 12×12 album can be added to any package for $950, and a cinematic wedding film for $2,000.
